Rip Off Britain is a daytime series which exposes Britain's rip-offs to help the British consumers. It began on 30 November 2009 presented by former news journalists Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Jennie Bond. Newsreader Julia Somerville replaced Bond onwards from series three.

The presenters investigate viewers stories of them being ripped-off. They expose some of the rip offs that are costing British consumers.
Series 1 ran for a week long of five episodes on BBC One. It was presented by Angela Rippon, Jennie Bond and Gloria Hunniford. Each programme focused on a different aspect, these were Utilities, personal finance, shopping, housing and travel. It ran 30 November - 4 December 2009.
Series 2 ran 22 November - 17 December 2010. This series was much more broad and ran for 20 episodes over four weeks on BBC One. The same team of Rippon, Bond and Hunniford returned. Each episode featured a mixture of consumer affairs unlike the first series. Series 2 was remade into cut down editions of 30 minutes which aired in prime time BBC One on Friday evenings.
A third series of the show has been comissioned and will air in November 2011. It will be presented by BBC Newsreader Julia Somerville alongside existing presenters Rippon and Hunniford.
